July
Dear Knitters,
Summer’s here and school’s out. Yippee. I’m looking forward to relaxing and gardening and maybe a little knitting. I’m also excited about the two events we have planned for July and August.
Knitting Circle Pot Luck July 12
Pat will be awaiting our arrival at 6 pm, Thursday, July 12, at 3575 Dunkley. She is the third driveway on the right. If you have any questions about what to bring to the potluck you can call her at 546-2465. Please be reminded to bring your own chair, dishes, cutlery, glasses, and favourite beverage.
August Meeting
We are planning a Yarn Tour in place of our meeting on August 2nd. A yarn tour starts by choosing a town to travel to (say Kelowna or Kamloops). We then visit a yarn store or two then go for a relaxing lunch. After our break we visit another yarn store before heading home. A relaxing yarn tour is always fun to do with friends. It is mainly a chance to ooh and aah over the colours and textures and new yarns. With the big selection of quality yarns it’s difficult to resist buying for your “stash” or your next project. Please bring your location preference to the pot luck.
Attention Spinners
Anne from Vernon has raw wool (straight from the sheep’s back) for sale. Give her a call for more info 542-0996.
Faye is back
Faye has returned from her knee surgery at the coast. We want to wish her an easy and speedy recovery. She won’t know if she can attend the pot luck until closer to the time. If you’d like to give her a call and wish her well her number is 546-6147.
See you at the pot luck.
Judy
