Knitting Circle Armstrong is a non-profit
organization of dedicated artisans who wish to
promote the joy and art of knitting and crocheting.
We meet several times a month to enjoy a relaxing
evening of sharing, learning and meeting new
friends. Beginners are always welcome. Our circle
over the year has actively participated in a number
of charitable projects and community sponsored
events.
Looking for an idea for your next project? We can
help. Each issue of Country Knitter Magazine
explores a new project with step by step
instructions and plenty of helpful tips and photos
to make your next project a success. If you would
like to be included on our email list to receive
our Magazine, please sign-up here.
If you’re like us and enjoy all things knitted
you’ll want to visit our Photo Gallery. Come back
often as we’re always adding new photos.
Our members are very generous with their time and
have donated dozens of blankets to charitable
organizations throughout the valley. ‘Kilometers of
Caring’ is what we fondly refer to our hand made
blankets as each is made up of forty-eight,
eight-inch squares and uses almost two kilometers
of yarn, and of course an abundance of love. Each
blanket is a unique tapestry of colors and
geometric patterns and designed to brighten
someone's day. See photos here.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the
many individuals across British Columbia who
responded to our project and generously donated
squares and yarn. Thank you very much and we look
forward to meeting you some day. We would also like
to thank Armstrong Chamber of Commerce and The
Never Ending Yarn for being a yarn depot for our
Circle.
